Ledger35 is a web directory maintained in the manner of a reference ledger: a systematic, hand-reviewed catalogue of websites organised by subject and kept as a factual record of the open web. The directory currently holds 834 entries filed across 22 subject sections.

The approach is straightforward. Operators submit their site through the Add a Record form, selecting the section that best corresponds to what the site does. Each submission is reviewed against plain criteria — the URL must be live, the description must be accurate, and the chosen section must be appropriate — before the entry is filed in the catalogue. There is no algorithmic processing, no automated ranking, and no paid placement. Entries appear in the order they were received and reviewed.

The catalogue covers a broad range of subjects: social and companionship services, automotive trades, personal care and cosmetics, gaming and wagering, building and home trades, dental practitioners, document services, schools and training, financial services, food supply and catering, furnishings and interior works, industrial supply, legal chambers, healthcare, media and publishing, miscellaneous entries, veterinary and pet services, print works, property and real estate, marketing and advertising, technology and software, and travel operators and accommodation.

Ledger35 does not endorse, recommend, or rank any site in the directory. The catalogue is a record of what has been submitted, reviewed, and accepted — nothing more and nothing less. No editorial opinion is attached to any entry, and inclusion in the directory carries no implied assessment of quality, trustworthiness, or suitability for any purpose.

Submission is free. Browsing the catalogue is free. There is no membership, no subscription, and no premium listing tier. The directory is maintained as a public reference resource for anyone who finds a hand-reviewed index of live websites useful.
